The IOC-established drug testing routine has set the worldwide benchmark that different sporting federations attempt to emulate. During the Beijing video games, 3,667 athletes have been tested by the IOC beneath the auspices of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Prior to the Games 107 athletes tested positive for banned substances and weren’t allowed to compete.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport is expected to hear to the case on thirteen February with a call scheduled for announcement on 14 February ahead of her scheduled appearance within the ladies’s singles event starting 15 February. By the end of the Beijing Olympics, a complete five athletes had been reported for doping violations.
